Dr. Jessica C. Frazier, DNP, APRN, AGACNP-BC, FNP-BC, USAF Captain (Ret.), is a nationally recognized nurse practitioner, military veteran, educator, and advocate for those who have served. With more than 20 years of experience in emergency medicine, critical care, military medicine, and veteran healthcare, she has dedicated her career to serving others in some of the world’s most demanding environments.
Jessica is dual board-certified as both a Family Nurse Practitioner and an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree after completing advanced graduate education focused on evidence-based practice and nursing leadership. Throughout her career, she has practiced in Level I and II trauma centers, emergency departments, hospital medicine, family medicine, occupational health, and urgent care while also serving as a university professor mentoring the next generation of nurse practitioners.
Her military service spans both the Oklahoma Army National Guard and the Oklahoma Air National Guard. Jessica deployed to Iraq, served as a Flight Nurse with the 137th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron, and became the only National Guard flight nurse selected to support Operation Deep Freeze in Antarctica, where she helped transform military aircraft into airborne intensive care units supporting operations at McMurdo Station. Her distinguished service earned numerous military decorations and reflects a career built on leadership, readiness, and compassion under pressure.
Jessica has also served as a Nurse Practitioner within the Department of Veterans Affairs and as a contracted VA disability examiner, giving her extensive firsthand knowledge of the VA disability system and the unique healthcare challenges veterans face. Today, she is the founder of Valor Veterans Services, where she provides evidence-based medical nexus opinions and Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) to help veterans receive the benefits they have earned through their service.
As a member of the RECON-nect Board of Directors, Dr. Frazier brings unparalleled expertise in veteran healthcare, military medicine, trauma recovery, and medical advocacy. Her passion for serving veterans extends far beyond the clinic, combining clinical excellence with mentorship, education, and a deep commitment to ensuring that every veteran receives compassionate care, accurate medical guidance, and the opportunity to thrive after military service.
Jessica believes that healing is about more than treating illness—it is about restoring hope, empowering individuals, and honoring those who have sacrificed for our nation.
